چکیده

1 Reagents and instruments FeCl3, anhydrous AlCl3, β-D-glucose, maltose, R-lactose and D-fructose were obtained from Beijing Chemical Reagent Company (Beijing, China), and the carbohydrate solutions were left at room temperature for 24 h before use. Al foil tape and conductive carbon ink were purchased commercially. Ru(bpy)3Cl6·6H2O, Luminol and glucose oxidase (from Aspergillus niger, GOx) were purchased from Sigma-Aldrich (Milwaukee, WI). All other chemicals used were of analytical reagent grade without any further purification. Double distilled water was used throughout. Electrochemical measurements were conducted with an electrochemical workstation CHI 832B (Shanghai Chenhua Instrument Corporation, China). ECL signals were obtained by a model MPI-A capillary electrophoresis ECL system (Xi’an Remax Electronics Co. Ltd.). All of the experiments were carried out at room temperature.

A three-dimensional origami-based immuno-biofuel cell for self-powered, low-cost, and sensitive point-of-care testing.

A three-dimensional microfluidic origami glucose-air immuno-biofuel cell has been successfully demonstrated for the first time to implement self-powered, sensitive, and low-cost sandwich immunoassay for cancer markers based on the signal amplifications of a porous Au-paper electrode and Au nanoparticles attached to carbon nanotubes.

Recent advances in electrochemiluminescence.

The great success of electrochemiluminescence (ECL) for in vitro diagnosis (IVD) and its promising potential in light-emitting devices greatly promote recent ECL studies. More than 45% of ECL articles were published after 2010, and the first international meeting on ECL was held in Italy in 2014. This critical review discusses recent vibrant developments in ECL, and highlights novel ECL phenome...

Microfluidics Integrated Biosensors: A Leading Technology towards Lab-on-a-Chip and Sensing Applications

A biosensor can be defined as a compact analytical device or unit incorporating a biological or biologically derived sensitive recognition element immobilized on a physicochemical transducer to measure one or more analytes. Microfluidic systems, on the other hand, provide throughput processing, enhance transport for controlling the flow conditions, increase the mixing rate of different reagents...

Self-powered microfluidic chips for multiplexed protein assays from whole blood.

We report herein on a self-powered, self-contained microfluidic-based chip designed to separate plasma from whole blood, and then execute an assay of a multiplexed panel of plasma biomarker proteins. The power source is based upon a chemical reaction that is catalytically triggered by the push of a button on the chip. We demonstrate assays of a dozen blood-based protein biomarkers using this au...
